The Neurosciences Center of Regional Medical Center is seeking a neurosurgeon to join a 2 member expanding neurosurgery program. The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained. The neuroscience team is comprised of adult neurosurgeons, a neurointerventionalist, medical neurologists, neuroradiologists and a team of clinical mid-level professionals. General neurosurgery call is required.

• Will provide coverage at one hospital

• Office is located on campus with easy access to hospital, emergency department and surgical services

• Vascular, anesthesia and pulm/critical care support available 24/7

• 10 bed dedicated Neurocritical Care Unit

• Robust hospitalist service provides medical consultative support for non-surgical issues

• Dedicated neurosurgery scrub team

• 22 ORs with 2 endovascular suites and open heart, IR and Vas surgery

 • 24/7 Neurosurgery coverage with 4 employed neurosurgeons

 • Level 2 trauma center with EM residency trained physicians (68, 000 annual visits)

• 50-bed inpatient psychiatric program and outpatient center with psychiatric hospitalist coverage • 32 ICU beds

• Dedicated Family Birth Center with 27 LDRP suites for family-centered care (more than 1, 700 deliveries per year)

• Serves over 800, 000 in a 75-mile radius
