Academic community hospital and a member of the Mass General Brigham health care system, is seeking an Associate Chief of Hospital Medicine. Reporting to the Chief of Hospital Medicine, this position offers an outstanding opportunity for an experienced physician to provide strategic and operational leadership to achieve the clinical, quality, and fiscal objectives of the program.
Hospital focuses on care redesign that supports clinicians in a team-based environment with a focus on compassionate patient care. It is recognized for its work in improving patient experience and hospital operations through the application of standard work and innovation principles across care units.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of clinical experience along with formal involvement in quality and process improvement, organizational engagement including hospital committee membership, a strong record of collaboration and the ability to lead teams and engage a broad base of potential stakeholders. Past physician leadership experience is strongly preferred. Board certification in Internal Medicine is required.
This is a full-time position with shared clinical and administrative responsibilities.
