- Level 3 Trauma Center
- Stroke and STEMI center
- 70k visits
- 12 shifts a day, shifts are 8 or 9 hours
- Shifts are 6a-2p x2, 8a-4p, 8a-5p,11a-7p, 12P-8P, 2p-10p x2, 3p-11P, 5p-1a, and 10p-6a x2
- There are always two board certified ED physicians on 24/7
- Current group includes 18 board certified ED physician and
- 5 mid-levels
- Significant overlap of shiftsÂ
- Average 1.5-1.8 patients an hour
- No shortage of procedures (expected to be able to do all ER procedures)
- Anesthesia, Pedi Hospitalist, Hospitalist in house 24/7
- Trauma surgery on call 24/7, expected to be at bedside in30 minutes for critical trauma
- Other on call specialties – Orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, ENT, GI, Nephrology, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery
- Intensivist in house 7a-7p, Hospitalist cover ICU from 7p-7a but Intensivist in on call
- ED does not respond to hospital airways or codes
- Also have a FAST track option that sees ESI 3-5
- Full Time provider works .7 FTE (28 Hours Per Week) with competitive pay plus bonus
