  • Level 3 Trauma Center
  • Stroke and STEMI center
  • 70k visits
  • 12 shifts a day, shifts are 8 or 9 hours
  • Shifts are 6a-2p x2, 8a-4p, 8a-5p,11a-7p, 12P-8P, 2p-10p x2, 3p-11P, 5p-1a, and 10p-6a x2
  • There are always two board certified ED physicians on 24/7
  • Current group includes 18 board certified ED physician and
  • 5 mid-levels
  • Significant overlap of shifts 
  • Average 1.5-1.8 patients an hour
  • No shortage of procedures (expected to be able to do all ER procedures)
  • Anesthesia, Pedi Hospitalist, Hospitalist in house 24/7
  • Trauma surgery on call 24/7, expected to be at bedside in30 minutes for critical trauma
  • Other on call specialties – Orthopedics, neurosurgery, neurology, ENT, GI, Nephrology, General Surgery, Vascular Surgery
  • Intensivist in house 7a-7p, Hospitalist cover ICU from 7p-7a but Intensivist in on call
  • ED does not respond to hospital airways or codes
  • Also have a FAST track option that sees ESI 3-5
  • Full Time provider works .7 FTE (28 Hours Per Week) with competitive pay plus bonus
