Job Description
Physicians to staff Emergency Department at Medical Center in Houston
- Must be Board Certified or Eligible:
- ABEM or AOBEM certification/eligibility plus 2 years of ER experience OR
- At least 5 years ER experience (OR 1-year EM Fellowship) plus ABIM/AOBIM, or ABFM/ABOFM certification/eligibility
- ACLS/ATLS/PALS/CPR Required
- Medical Director stipend available for interested, qualified candidate
- ER averages 30K patients per year
- 18 hours per day of APP coverage
- Physician Shift Times: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
- EMR is Meditech with Dragon
- The ED is looking for full-time (12 shifts/month including 2 weekends) or part-time (6 shifts/month including 1 weekend)
- 1099 Status with covered malpractice & tail
- $280/Hr for 10 or more shifts/month and $270/Hr for 9 or less shifts/month
