Perform comprehensive medical and nursing assessments to be used in diagnosis and treatment of patients. Serves as an advisor, resource, preceptor and leader for other members of the patient care team.Provides direct and indirect patient care optimizing patient safety. Works proactively and in collaboration with other team members.Participates in the staff and patient education process. Develops patient education material promoting current clinical practice guidelines
Requirements: MSN - graduate of Nurse Practitioner Program
Two years as RN;
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required;
BSN's from CCNE accredited schools.
Maryland Registered Nurse License
American Heart Association CPR Certification Current
Maryland Nurse Practitioner certification
CPR
